Crying Over Spilled Milk and China Pieces

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

Seriously, I was. Or at least over spilled tea with cream. I was enjoying a nice hot cup of tea last night, watching Desperate Housewives reruns on my Tivo when my cat Trixie jumped on me, and knocked my cup of tea onto the floor.

As I watched the teacup and saucer fall (in what seemed like slow motion), my heart sank as I realized this antique piece of china was now several antique pieces of china all over my floor. Picking up the pieces, I wondered how I would ever find a china replacement piece for my set.

Looking online, I came across a great company that had the piece I needed to once again have a complete set of china. I was so relieved because this had been my grandmother’s china set, and I knew it would be tough to locate any of the china, let alone a single replacement piece.

Now Trixie is banned from my room - she’s a very naughty kitty that is no longer allowed around me as I’m enjoying my nightly cup of tea.

How About Pampering Your Pet

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

As I was looking for a new purse, I came across a surprising find. I found a Utah-based pet boutique that offered designer purses so that I could carry my dog around with me. These dog carrier purses were just the right size for my little guy with some extra room for my items too. They conveniently came in many different styles so that I look as elegant or trendy as my little dog. Be sure to check out their online store full of items for your favorite pet!

Picture Perfect Photography

Thursday, September 6th, 2007

So my one big worry for my wedding day was that I just wouldn’t look picture perfect. With my luck, I was sure a zit would pop up, my hair wouldn’t cooperate, or my makeup would look horrid. What’s a girl to do?

Well, part of the trick is finding a fabulous photographer who can work with just about anything. Lucky for me, I found the perfect Utah photographer who really gave me far more beautiful wedding photos than I thought possible (I didn’t look half bad either).

One of the most important things to note when interviewing prospective wedding photographers is there sample work. Take the time to look over samples of their work to see what their capabilities are and the quality of photographs they can provide.

All I have to say is, thank goodness for photoshop!

Perhaps Zantrex is More Your Cup of Tea..?

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

Yet, another weight loss pill that is creating buzz:  Zantrex-3.  Now, being a huge reality TV fan (pathetic, I know), I obviously watch VH1’s celebrity fit club show. Contestant Dustin Diamond (more affectionately known to all us 80’s offspring as Screech) revealed he had taken Zantrex and lost five pounds.  Even Ms. Britney Spears reportedly used the energy supplement.  So I decided to try it for myself…

The pill contains a high dosage of caffeine, enabling it to increase your energy and speed-up your metabolism.  While it should be taken only as directed and all warnings should be adhered to, Zantrex-3 really does give you the energy boost it claims to.  I have only been using it about a week or so, but so far so good.  I’ll keep you updated…

Akavar, Anyone?

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

I came across an interesting comparison review site for a couple different weight loss supplements, including Akavar 20/50.  This Akavar review seems rather legitimate and surprisingly unbiased considering Akavar came out on top.  In addition to my gym visits four times a week and my new healthy diet (which allows for carbs – yay!), I may just try some Akavar…I am all for shedding those few extra pounds.  Anyone want to join?
