Crying Over Spilled Milk and China Pieces
Seriously, I was. Or at least over spilled tea with cream. I was enjoying a nice hot cup of tea last night, watching Desperate Housewives reruns on my Tivo when my cat Trixie jumped on me, and knocked my cup of tea onto the floor.
As I watched the teacup and saucer fall (in what seemed like slow motion), my heart sank as I realized this antique piece of china was now several antique pieces of china all over my floor. Picking up the pieces, I wondered how I would ever find a china replacement piece for my set.
Looking online, I came across a great company that had the piece I needed to once again have a complete set of china. I was so relieved because this had been my grandmother’s china set, and I knew it would be tough to locate any of the china, let alone a single replacement piece.
Now Trixie is banned from my room - she’s a very naughty kitty that is no longer allowed around me as I’m enjoying my nightly cup of tea.
